This blog is desgined for two things:
1) Use reasoning to create logical theories about the future we could face in 50 years.
2) Be generally entertaining in doing so.
It's not designed to be a scince-fiction world. Rather, I'm hoping to implement scholarly approaches to make cultural predictions about 2063. If you want, you can call this my own version of a time capsule.
I am, admittedly, a scince-fiction geek. That said, when I find a good book that's based in the future and has some interesting backstory, I get rather hooked. One of my favorites is the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. A writer myself, I hope to be sporting some published novels soon. Meanwhile, I am currently a Communications student at Endicott College going by the name of Ashley Monks or, more preferably, "Ash." My plan is to someday become a professional video editor and/or novelist.
